BYD will reduce the price of its electric vehicles in the final quarter of 2025, prior to an anticipated increase in 2026 following the conclusion of the EV 3.0 programme, which will no longer provide a government subsidy of THB 150,000 (US$4,818).

On 23rd December 2025, RAVE Automotive, part of the RAVE business group and the official distributor and after-sales service provider for BYD and Denza new energy vehicles in Thailand, stated that electric vehicle prices in Thailand will need to rise in 2026 to levels above current pricing.

With the end of the EV 3.0 programme, Dolphin and Atto 3 models produced at the BYD Thailand factory will no longer be eligible for the maximum subsidy of THB 150,000. These models will instead receive a maximum subsidy of THB 50,000 under the EV 3.5 programme.

Additionally, the Seal, M6, Sealion 7, and Denza D9 models will not only miss the maximum government subsidy of THB 75,000 but will also face an increase in excise tax rates from 2% to 10%.

The projected prices of BYD electric vehicles in 2026 are as follows:

- Dolphin Standard Range: THB 599,900
- Dolphin Extended Range: THB 719,900
- Atto 3 Premium: THB 799,900
- Atto 3 Extended: THB 849,900
- M6 Dynamic: THB 909,900
- M6 Extend: THB 1,009,900
- Seal Dynamic: THB 989,900
- Seal Premium: THB 1,099,900
- Seal AWD Performance: THB 1,209,900
- Sealion 7 Premium: THB 1,264,900
- Sealion 7 AWD Performance: THB 1,364,900

A recent promotional campaign for the Atto 3 Premium and Seal Premium & AWD Performance models concluded successfully, with these variants selling out rapidly. However, other BYD and Denza models remain available at special prices, valid until 31st December 2025.

Other Atto 3 and Seal variants are also available. The Atto 3 Extended is offered at a promotional price starting from THB 699,900 and includes a complimentary lifetime battery warranty package valued at THB 50,000, covering the high-voltage battery, drive motor, and PDC (Pulse Control Unit). The Seal Dynamic variant in stock is available at a promotional price of THB 799,900, in limited quantities.
