Brixton launches Crossfire, Cromwell 1200

Austria-based Brixton Motorcycles has introduced its Crossfire and Cromwell ranges of motorcycles in India, with prices starting from Rs. 474,000 and Rs. 784,000 (US$ 5,690 and 9,415), respectively (ex-showroom).
The motorcycles will be imported through the CKD route and assembled at KAW Veloce Motors' facility in Kolhapur. Deliveries are set to commence in January 2025.
Crossfire
The Crossfire is a scrambler-style motorcycle available in two variants: 500X and 500XC, priced at Rs. 474,000 and Rs. 520,000, respectively.
- The 500X is designed for road use, while the more off-road-focused 500XC features a raised front fender and knobbly tyres.
- Both variants are powered by a 486cc twin-cylinder engine producing 47 PS @ 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm @ 6,750 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
- The 500XC is equipped with a 19-inch wire-spoke wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel at the rear, while the 500X features 17-inch rims on both ends.
- Suspension duties are handled by a fully adjustable USD fork and an adjustable rear monoshock.
- Braking is provided by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Cromwell 1200
The Cromwell 1200 is a retro-styled roadster, reminiscent of the Triumph Bonneville.
- It is available in two variants: 1200 and 1200X, with prices at Rs. 784,000 and Rs. 911,000, respectively. The 1200X is tailored for off-road use.
- The motorcycles are powered by a 1,222cc twin-cylinder engine, delivering 83 PS @ 6,550 rpm and 108 Nm @ 3,100 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
- Both variants feature a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear.
- The braking setup includes dual 310 mm discs at the front and a single 260 mm disc at the rear.
The Cromwell 1200 will be limited to just 100 units, making it an exclusive offering in the Indian market.
