Cupra Australia is due to open four new dealerships and service locations this month in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, the company has recently announced.
Earlier in April, 2024 it opened a dealership and service centre in Brisbane's central business district (CBD), and a service centre on the Central Coast in New South Wales.
They are due to be followed by a new service centre in Macarthur, in Sydney's south-west, and a pop-up sales and service centre in Tullamarine, on Melbourne's outskirts, before a permanent location opens nearby in Essendon Fields in 2025.
A 'pop-up' sales location is planned to open in Macarthur before opening a permanent showroom there in 2025.
It currently operates two dealerships (called 'Garages') in New South Wales, one in Victoria, two in Queensland, and one each in Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
The Volkswagen-owned car brand has 10 service centres across Australia, with at least one in every state and territory except the Northern Territory - where it does not have a footprint in sales or servicing.
Alongside its growing dealer network, Cupra plans to expand its line-up in 2025 with the Terramar mid-size petrol and hybrid SUV, and Tavascan electric SUV.
