Daisuke Okamoto to lead Mitsubishi Fuso in local market

Daisuke Okamoto is appointed as the President Director of Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso vehicles in Indonesia, starting February 1st, 2024.
Okamoto now replaces Nobukazu Tanaka who has led Mitsubishi Fuso Indonesia since February 1st, 2022.
The company claims that Tanaka brought many achievements during his leadership. In April 2022, KTB has successfully upgraded the the Fuso products from Euro 2 to Euro 4 emission standard. Tanaka also brought KTB into the Euro 4 era by launching the Fuso Canter and Fighter.
Apart from that, KTB has also strengthened after-sales services by adding new dealers, 24-hour standby workshops, parts depots and the establishment of Cabin and Chassis Repair for commercial vehicles.
This expansion makes KTB a Mitsubishi Fuso distributor with the widest and largest dealer network and after-sales service throughout Indonesia. There are a total of 221 dealers, 16 24 Hour Standby Workshops, 18 Part Depots, 127 Mobile Workshop Service (MWS) with more than 6700 spare part outlets.
On the technology side, KTB presents the Runner 3.0 and My Fuso applications, where these applications make it easy for consumers to monitor vehicle conditions and get the latest information about Mitsubishi Fuso.
All improvements continue to be made to meet consumer satisfaction so that in 2023, KTB through the Mitsubishi Fuso brand has succeeded in getting Gold Winner Champion in the Commercial Vehicle category as a WOW Brand from MarkPlus.
The Tanaka era was also marked by trials of the Fuso eCanter electric truck with several logistics companies such as Goto, Wings, Pos Logistik, and others. This electric truck will be officially marketed in Indonesia in 2024.
Okamoto is a figure who is close to Indonesia. Okamoto, who studied Indonesian at the University of Indonesia in the late 1990s, previously served as Sales and Marketing Director of KTB for 4.5 years, from 2011 to 2016.
Okamoto then returned to Japan and served as General Manager of the Automotive Business Division at Mitsubishi Corporation. Then, he now returns to Indonesia to take up a new position as President Director of KTB as of February 1st, 2024.
