Explorer now more readily available at Ford dealerships nationwide

Ford Philippines announces the availability of the Ford Explorer across its Ford dealerships nationwide. It can also be reserved via the Ford online reservation portal.
Quietly added to the line-up in March, 2021 and formally launched in December, 2021, the Explorer was one of the Ford models hit by the chip shortage and logistics challenges brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic.
"We are excited to share that the Explorer is now available to more customers especially those who are looking for a spacious and sophisticated SUV. The Explorer is an important product in our SUV line-up, and we look forward to seeing more Filipino families experience its performance, comfort and capability," says Mike Breen, managing director, Ford Philippines.
The Explorer carries on unchanged relatively this 2024. It still comes with a 2.3-litre EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine delivering 304 PS and 420 Nm of torque. This is mated to a 10-speed automatic with standard intelligent 4WD and a Terrain Management System with seven selectable driving modes.
Features of the Explorer include LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, tri-zone climate control, and a twin-panel moonroof. For connectivity, it comes with an 8-inch touchscreen with Sync 3 and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen (B&O) system.
Equipped with Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ Technology, it has a suite of driver-assist technologies such as Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping System, Auto High-Beam Headlamps, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Evasive Steering Assist, and Reverse Braking Assist.
The 2024 Ford Explorer retails at PHP 3,498,000 (US$ 62,200) and is available in eight colours: Star White, Agate Black, Rapid Red, Stone Blue, Iconic Silver, Carbonized Gray, Forged Green, and Oxford White.
Customers who purchase the Ford Explorer starting from 1st January 2024, will also automatically receive a complimentary vehicle inspection service after 2 months or 2,000 kilometres whichever comes first as well as two free labours on periodic maintenance schedule services.
