PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), which markets commercial vehicles under the Mitsubishi Fuso brand is targeting commercial car sales until the end of 2022 with a contribution of up to 45 percent, especially with the opening of new dealers in Ciamis.
Director of Sales & Marketing of PT KTB, Duljatmono said sales of Fuso commercial vehicles during January-August 2022 was very good.
"Our target is market share, remain the market leader, that's what we want to achieve up to approximately 40-45 percent," he told the media crew after the opening of the Mitsubishi Fuso Dealer in Ciamis, Thursday (22/9/2022).
Based on data from the Association of Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso dominated commercial vehicle sales in August 2022. Fuso recorded retail sales of 3,426 units, up 9.6 percent (mtm).
Meanwhile, in terms of volume, Duliatmono said there are still many opportunities until the end of 2022 to maximise sales and remain the market leader.
Looking at the current data, Duljatmono said that from the general sales of commercial vehicles, Fuso has contributed 42 percent of its products.
"September to December conditions can still fluctuate even though our expectations are positive, the important thing is that our share goes to the market leader. Including the addition of dealers is our effort to achieve the target," he explained.
