Geely has introduced the all-new EX2 battery electric vehicle in the Philippines, as part of efforts to strengthen its position in the country's growing electric mobility market amid rising fuel prices and increasing consumer interest in electrified vehicles.

At the launch of the 2026 EX2 BEV, the company also announced a range of introductory discounts and customer incentives.

First displayed at the Philippine International Auto Show earlier this month, the EX2 is a compact electric hatchback offered in two variants, Pro and Max. Both versions are powered by a 115 PS electric motor producing 150 Nm of torque, paired with a 39.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supplied by CATL.

It has a quoted driving range of 325 km under the WLTP testing cycle, although the company's website lists a range of 395 km under a different testing standard. The EX2 Pro is priced at PHP 938,000 (US$ 15,240), while the EX2 Max carries a retail price of PHP 1 million.

Customers who placed reservations before the official launch are eligible for an additional PHP 40,000 discount on both variants, reducing the prices to PHP 898,000 for the Pro and PHP 998,000 for the Max.

In addition, buyers will receive two complimentary preventive maintenance service (PMS) sessions within the first two years of ownership, a PHP 10,000 delivery gift, a portable AC charger, an AC wall charger, floor mats and solar tint. Customers purchasing the EX2 Max will also receive a complimentary black roof upgrade valued at PHP 10,000.

Company also announced several conditional promotional offers. These include an additional PHP 5,000 limited-time cash discount, although it was not specified whether the offer applies exclusively to cash purchases. The company also mentioned a PHP 10,000 discount for customers who did not place a prior reservation, though details regarding eligibility were not provided.

Furthermore, brand announced a pre-sale promotion under which customers who made a PHP 5,000 reservation would receive a PHP 10,000 reservation credit. Additional details on the programme were not disclosed during the launch event.
