Sri Lanka is undergoing a shift towards sustainable transportation, with Hayleys Fentons supporting this transition through the launch of Hayleys Mobility.
Hayleys Fentons has introduced Hayleys Mobility, a new venture providing new-energy vehicle solutions and infrastructure to support the country's move towards sustainable mobility.
The initiative addresses the growing demand for cleaner and more energy-efficient transportation options among Sri Lankan consumers and businesses.
Through exclusive partnerships with internationally recognised automotive brands, Hayleys Mobility offers a range of New Energy Vehicles, including hybrid and electric models, along with EV charging solutions to develop a more sustainable transportation ecosystem.
As the exclusive authorised distributor for Omoda & Jaecoo and SRM vehicles in Sri Lanka, Hayleys Mobility provides customers with access to full manufacturer warranties, certified after-sales support, and genuine parts.
In collaboration with StarCharge, a global provider of EV charging infrastructure, the company aims to expand access to reliable and convenient charging solutions across the island.
The venture reflects the Hayleys Group's focus on advancing sustainable technologies.
Its brand tagline, "Not Many. Just One.", represents the company's approach within the mobility sector.
The Hayleys Mobility logo is derived from the Hayleys identity. The orange accent from Hayleys Fentons indicates agility, while the three forward-sweeping lines represent motion, innovation, and a future-oriented perspective.
Hayleys Fentons Managing Director Hasith Prematillake stated: "Hayleys Mobility represents a strategic evolution of the portfolio. With exclusive access to some of the global automotive brands, the venture aims to provide a future-ready ecosystem in Sri Lanka based on sustainability and innovation."
Hayleys Mobility Director Roshani Dharmaratne further added: "Customers will have access to vehicles supported by after-sales service and infrastructure. Hayleys Mobility reflects the portfolio's capability to support Sri Lanka's mobility transformation."
Hayleys Mobility CEO Rajieve M. Fernando said: "The vehicles combine safety measures, practical features, and relevant technologies. From advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to fast-charging capabilities, each model is designed to make sustainable mobility accessible and functional."
Sri Lanka spends billions of rupees annually on fuel imports, with transportation accounting for 33% of the country's total energy consumption.
The adoption of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) can reduce environmental impact and conserve foreign exchange, contributing to a more sustainable and economically resilient future.
Hayleys Mobility supports this transition by providing customers with vehicles and infrastructure aligned with government regulations.
Each model is offered with transparency, responsibility, and compliance, reflecting a structured approach to sustainable mobility.
