Autobikes, 15 Dec '22
The new Honda SH 160i model has just been suddenly introduced by Honda Vietnam. According to the manufacturer, this is actually just Honda SH 150i with a new name.
Besides changing the new name, the difference of Honda SH 160i compared to SH 150i also lies in the stamp pattern along with the colour scheme. The most changed are 2 versions of Sports and Especially with the front bib with a red/black decal strip, the rear shock absorber spring is not as black as the lower 2 versions but red.
Bluetooth technology connected to smartphones continues to be equipped on SH160i. By connecting via Bluetooth to the My Honda+ application, customers can read all vehicle information such as operating status, repair information, maintenance, warranty, history and fuel consumption, information about new products or events of HVN as well as give useful tips or suggestions to car users through the My Honda+ application on smartphones.
Although it has not received any upgrades in terms of equipment, the selling price of Honda SH 160i compared to 150i is still a bit more expensive. Specifically, the Honda SH 160i Standard, Premium, Special and Sports versions have a selling price of VND 91.79 million (US$ 3,900), VND 99.79 million, VND 100.99 million and VND 101.49 million respectively.
Previously, SH 150i had a proposed price of about VND 90.29-99.99 million. It can be seen that SH 160i is VND 1.5 million more expensive than SH 150i. The name change is seen as a way to attract users in the context of more and more large scooter models appearing in Vietnam.
In addition, Honda Vietnam also added 2 more versions to SH 125i, Special and Sports. The recommended selling price of SH 125i is from VND 73 million for the Standard version, the most expensive VND 84.49 million for the Sports version.
