Hyundai Motor Company is the first to establish a permanent base in the Kansai region of Japan where you can experience eco-friendly cars such as the Ioniq 5 and Nexo.

Hyundai Mobility Japan, a Japanese subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company, announced on February 2nd that it will open the 'Hyundai Mobility Lounge Kyoto Shijo' in Kyoto, Japan on February 4th.

At Hyundai Mobility Lounge Kyoto Shijo, you can not only test-drive the electric car Ioniq 5 and hydrogen fuel cell car Nexo, but also receive purchase consultation and after-sales service (AS).

Hyundai Motor Company has prepared a lounge in 'A Fit Auto Box Kyoto Shijo', a complex shopping space that handles automobile-related items, clothing, and miscellaneous goods related to automobiles. A Fit Autobox Kyoto Shijo is the flagship store of Autobox Seven Group (Autobox), a Japanese auto parts and service company.

Hyundai Motor Company plans to strengthen collaboration with Autobox, starting with the opening of the Hyundai Mobility Lounge Kyoto Shijo.

Hyundai Motor Company and Autobox plan to form an alliance to utilise Autobox's maintenance base as Hyundai Motor's cooperative maintenance plant in Japan.

Hyundai Motor Company has been actively promoting the establishment of experience bases in major regions of Japan.

In June of last year, Hyundai Motor Company opened 'Hyundai Mobility Marunouchi' at the Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo Hotel in Marunouchi, Tokyo, the center of Japan's economy and finance.

In July of last year, it opened the first directly managed customer center in Japan, the 'Hyundai Customer Experience Center' in Yokohama, and in October, it opened the 'Hyundai City Store', an urban showroom in Nagoya and Fukuoka.

An official from Hyundai Motor Company said, "Hyundai Mobility Lounge Kyoto Shijo is the first permanent base in Kansai, so local customers can experience Hyundai Motor's pollution-free and eco-friendly vehicles, and we expect that customers who purchase them will also be able to receive maintenance services comfortably."
