Kawasaki Eliminator 450 launched

Kawasaki has finally introduced the new Eliminator 450 in India at Rs. 562,000 (US$ 6,745) (ex-showroom).
The Eliminator has made a comeback to India after a hiatus of two-year. It had come to the country way back in 2001 and was there for a limited duration and was on a sale under an alliance between Kawasaki and Bajaj Auto. The India-spec model is available in only a single paint job, called Metallic Flat Black.
2024 Kawasaki Eliminator 450: Engine, power outputs, and gearbox
The Eliminator 450 gets 451cc, parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that makes 45.4 PS at 9,000rpm and 42.6 Nm at 6,000rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox. It is rival, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin unit 47 PS and 52.3 Nm. That being said, the Japanese cruiser from that era came powered by a smaller capacity engine compared to the on-sale version.
2024 Kawasaki Eliminator 450: Features and specifications
The Eliminator 450 features all-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled circular digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and an assist and slipper clutch.
Additionally, there is a 310mm front single disc, a 240mm rear single disc, telescopic front forks, and twin rear shocks. The cruiser uses an 18-inch front and a 16-inch rear wheel. It weighs 176kg, while the seat height stands at 735mm.
