JLM Auto Indonesia has officially introduced the facelifted Range Rover Evoque to the Indonesian market, further strengthening its position in the luxury SUV segment.
"Range Rover Evoque represents a distinctive design language with off-road capabilities, while seamlessly addressing daily mobility needs," stated Gerry Kertowidjojo, President Director of JLM Auto Indonesia, during the launch event in Kuningan, Jakarta, on 28th November.
A key feature of the updated model is the introduction of an 11.4-inch curved infotainment touchscreen, previously utilised in the new Range Rover Velar and Land Rover Discovery Sport. All primary functions, including climate control, have been integrated into the new screen software.
The climate control panel, formerly located beneath the dashboard, has been replaced with a storage compartment that includes wireless charging capabilities.
Standard features now include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa voice control. Additionally, Wi-Fi connectivity with data packages allows the updated Evoque to receive over-the-air updates, eliminating the need for dealership visits to install new software.
The enhanced cabin also incorporates a PM2.5 air purification system, offered as part of the Comfort Pack, underscoring its focus on passenger comfort.
The Range Rover Evoque is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, delivering up to 200 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque.
Advanced technologies featured in the Evoque include a 3D surround camera with Clearsight Ground View, an Approach Unlock and Walk-away Lock system, and the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), ensuring a blend of sophistication and safety.
