Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has turned over 56 brand-new Isuzu trucks to Producers Connection Logistics Inc. (PCL), a company operating in the logistics sector.
The acquisition expands PCL's fleet with units designed for both heavy-duty and light to medium-duty transport requirements.
The fleet consists of two primary truck lines: the Isuzu F-Series for heavy-duty logistics and the Isuzu N-Series for versatile operations. To meet PCL's specific needs, IPC worked with Centro Manufacturing Corporation for the truck bodies and refrigerated cooling systems, enabling both dry and cold-chain applications.
For heavy-duty use, Isuzu supplied 22 units of the FVM model and two units of the FVR model. These trucks are powered by Euro IV-compliant Blue Power diesel engines designed to meet emission standards while providing operational efficiency. The F-Series features a reinforced chassis frame, rigid cab, and high axle capacity. Engine access has been designed for ease of maintenance, supported by cab interiors arranged for driver comfort.
For lighter transport operations, PCL acquired 12 units of the NMR and 20 units of the NLR under the N-Series range. These models are intended for manoeuvrability and fuel efficiency, suitable for metropolitan routes and provincial deliveries. Features available in the N-Series include Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), Eco Mode for fuel efficiency, and ergonomic reclinable seats.
Drivers and mechanics receive free training to ensure correct vehicle handling and maintenance. IPC also provides nationwide parts availability to minimise downtime, including in remote areas. For operations located far from service centres, IPC deploys Mobile Medic Trucks and field engineers who offer on-site and roadside support.
"Isuzu has always been committed to helping businesses succeed through dependable vehicles and comprehensive aftersales programmes," said an official from the company. "We are pleased to support PCL as they expand their fleet to meet increasing logistics requirements."
"Our decision to partner with Isuzu reflects our focus on operational efficiency," said an official from the logistics firm. "The reliability of the vehicles and strong aftersales support provide confidence in maintaining continuous service for clients."
