Royal Enfield Meteor 350 officially launched in Nepal.
Alpha Automotive, the authorised distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Nepal, finally launched the Nepal-assembled Meteor 350 in a launch event on 28th December, 2023.
Design
Meteor 350 inspired by the iconic Thunderbird improves the old design by including quality-of-life changes. The front section sports a classic Halogen Headlamp along with a circular LED DRL.
It gets an elongated single-piece handlebar with new controls like the integrated Engine Kill Switch/Electric Starter. The side profile features a prominent teardrop-shaped fuel tank. It has a slight redesign with a slimmer profile especially when compared to the Thunderbird.
Moreover, it comes with a low-set, wider, and comfortable split-seat setup. The rear section completes the cruiser look with a new ring-type LED tail light.
Meteor 350 will be available in three variants: Fireball, Steller, and Supernova. Depending on the variants, it comes in Red, Green, Blue, and Black colours.
Performance
Meteor 350 is powered by the new 349cc, Single-Cylinder, Air-Cooled, SOHC, EFI engine. It can generate a max power of 20.48 PS at 6100 rpm and a max torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm.
Moreover, it is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a 15-litre fuel tank. Meteor 350 gets a new J series engine which is BS6-compliant.
Additional Details
The dimensions are 2140mm in length, 845mm in width, and 1310mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase is 1400mm.
Telescopic Fork and Twin Tube Emulsion Absorbers handle suspension duties. Meteor 350 gets a 170mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight sits at 191 kg.
It gets a Standard Dual-Disc Braking setup.
