According to Royal Enfield, its dealerships have sold all existing inventory of BS-IV motorcycles ahead of the March 31st deadline. All dealerships will sell BS-VI compliant bikes from March 21st, 2020.
The bike maker has been working closely with dealerships to ensure a seamless transition. In preparation, the company had scaled down production and distribution of BS-IV motorcycles and simultaneously increased the production of the BS-VI models.
Royal Enfield had introduced BS-VI compliant models in January 2020. The Classic 350 was the first bike to get a BS-VI engine.
