Pakistan's two-wheeler market is set to welcome a new international entrant, with Royal Power Pakistan preparing to officially launch the Thai two-wheeler brand GPX on June 14th, 2026.
The partnership marks GPX Thailand's entry into the Pakistani market under the newly established Royal GPX brand. The announcement follows the company's plans to introduce the brand in a market traditionally dominated by Honda and Suzuki.
Ahead of the launch, the company shared a teaser message stating: "The roads have been waiting. The riders have been waiting. Pakistan has been waiting. 14 June. The wait ends."
Strategic partnership with GPX Thailand
Royal Power Pakistan has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GPX Thailand, a two-wheeler manufacturer based in Thailand. Through this collaboration, Pakistani consumers are expected to gain access to a range of motorcycles.
According to the company, the Royal GPX line-up will include motorcycles ranging from 125cc to 250cc. Plans are also in place to introduce electric motorcycles in the future. The move will add another competitor to Pakistan's two-wheeler market.
Which models could arrive?
While the company has not yet disclosed the exact models scheduled for launch, teaser images have provided some indications. Observers have identified similarities between the teased motorcycles and the GPX GR200 Da Corsa, a retro-styled model.
Another teaser appears to feature the GPX Raptor 180, a naked street motorcycle currently available in several Asian markets. If introduced locally, these models would expand the range of motorcycles available to consumers in the market.
A new development in Pakistan's motorcycle market
The arrival of Royal GPX will introduce another motorcycle brand to Pakistani consumers, particularly in the premium commuter and entry-level sports motorcycle segments. With motorcycles expected to cover the 125cc to 250cc range and electric models also planned, the brand's product range is expected to target multiple customer segments. The extent to which Royal GPX will compete with established motorcycle brands in Pakistan is likely to become clearer following the official unveiling of its line-up on June 14th.
