Updated Skoda Fabia, Scala, Kamiq, Karoq now available

Skoda Taiwan has updated four models for the 2027 model year, with the Fabia, Scala, Kamiq and Karoq receiving equipment changes without alterations to their model line-ups or prices.
The updated models are available through Skoda Taiwan's official website, with prices starting at NTD 878,000 (US$ 27,520).
The 2027 Fabia is available in three versions: the 1.0 TSI Dynamic Edition at NTD 878,000, the 1.0 TSI Luxury Dynamic Edition at NTD 928,000 and the 1.5 TSI Luxury Elite Edition at NTD 1,018,000. The Scala is offered in two versions priced at NTD 1,008,000 and NTD 1,068,000, while the Kamiq is available in two versions priced at NTD 1,028,000 and NTD 1,088,000. The Karoq remains available only in the Sport version, priced at NTD 1,198,000.
The Fabia is the entry-level hatchback and comes with nine airbags. It is offered with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbocharged engines. The Scala and Kamiq are also available with both engine options, while the Karoq is offered only with a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine.
The main changes for the 2027 model year involve the wireless smartphone charging system and driver-monitoring technology. The wireless charging pad has been upgraded from 15W to 25W. The system is understood to use second-generation Qi wireless charging technology and also incorporates a magnetic function.
The driver-monitoring system has also been updated. Previously, the driver-attention monitoring system relied on instrument-panel warnings and audible alerts. For the 2027 model year, an additional in-cabin camera has been incorporated to monitor the driver's condition in real time and provide earlier warnings when fatigue or reduced attention is detected.
The camera is positioned near the rear-view mirror and forms part of Skoda's next-generation smart EYE intelligent driving assistance technology. In addition to fatigue monitoring, a driving-attention warning has been added to monitor the driver.
The new Scala and Kamiq also receive the previously optional Driving Pleasure Package as standard. The package includes a power-adjustable driver's seat, paddle shifters and Drive Mode selection.
Skoda has retained the existing model line-ups and pricing for all four models despite the equipment changes. The 2027 model year therefore adds the specified equipment without increasing prices.
