BYD, a global leader in the field of electric vehicles, has inaugurated a new showroom in Lalitpur.

It provides a 'one stop solution' for potential buyers and customers, where exchange, financing and fast charging stations will also be available. According to the company, this also proves BYD's commitment to providing accessible and efficient charging infrastructure.

The official distributor of BYD for Nepal, Eco Drive Automobile, the dealer of Symex Incorporation, has put the showroom into operation in Lalitpur.

Chiribabu Maharjan, head of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality, inaugurated the showroom. The state-of-the-art showroom will have various state-of-the-art electric vehicles including Nepal's first sporty electric SUV BYD Atto 3 and versatile BYD Dolphin and customers can get a unique experience there through those vehicles.

Inaugurating the showroom, Lalitpur Metropolitan Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan said that "BYD vehicles are environment friendly and suitable for travel."

Yamuna Shrestha, managing director of Cymex Incorporation, said that "not only the sale of BYD vehicles, but also the after-sales service has been prioritised."

Mr. Prakash Tuladhar, National Sales Head, sharing his excitement on the occasion of the showroom opening said, "We are delighted to expand our presence in Nepal with the opening of this new showroom in Lalitpur. This facility will not only act as a platform to showcase our state-of-the-art electric vehicles, but also act as a hub to promote sustainable transport practices in the region."

"In the coming days, a dedicated customer service centre will also be established in Lalitpur area, where there will be trained employees to provide necessary information and assistance to customers who want to use electric vehicles" he further added.

With this new showroom, BYD now has 12 showrooms, 9 service centres and 15 charging points all over Nepal.
