Bajaj launches Pulsar 220 in Indonesia

Bajaj Auto Indonesia (BAI) has officially launched the Pulsar 220 in Indonesia, priced at IDR 18.6 million (US$ 2,200) on-the-road in Jakarta. The Pulsar 220 will compete with Honda's Tiger and Yamaha's Scorpio. The bike comes with a 220cc, twin-spark, digital ignition (DTSi) engine which has a power output of 21 PS at 8,500 rpm and torque of 19.12 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Consumers have a choice of five colours - black, blue, red, silver, and orange. The Pulsar 220 will be assembled at Bajaj Auto's factory in Cikarang, West Java.
