DSK Hyosung to set up manufacturing plant in Maharashtra

DSK Hyosung will set up a plant in Maharashtra and manufacture most of its brands sold in the country, a top official of the company said here on 16th February on the sidelines of its first dealership opening in Jaipur. "Plans are already in place for a manufacturing facility that will come up in Maharashtra. It will take 18 months to build the plant and the rollout of products is likely to happen in two years," Shivapada Ray, chief operating officer of DSK Motowheels. Currently, DSK Hyosung assembles and sells models that include Aquila 250, GT250R, Aquila PRO ((650cc) and ST 7 (700cc) ranging between Rs. 290,000 (US$ 4,659) and Rs. 612,000.
