On 16th November, Mr. Lv, the president of Dongfeng Peugeot, said sales of Dongfeng Peugeot was 220,000 units in first 10 months of 2013 and achieved the year-on-year growth of 30%, exceeding the sales of the whole 2012.

So the sales target was was raised to 270 thousand units this year. According to the data from CAAM, the sales of passenger cars were 14,455.1 units in first 10 months of 2013 and achieved the year-on-year growth of 14.99%.

Dongfeng Peugeot increased most in whole industry due to its hot sales of model 3008, new 308 etc. Mr. Lv said Dongfeng Peugeot needs keep this trend as to finish the plan of 'Doubled in three years' formulated early this year.

According to the information collected by the local reporter, Dongfeng Peugeot released medium-term development plan at the beginning of this year, whose main content is as follows: to release six models in next three years; to increase quantity of 4S shops to 500; to enter into top five of the list of satisfaction of auto industry; to double the sales comparing to 2012.

Mr. Lv said the target of satisfaction has been achieved and to keep this growth rate could build foundation for our 3-years plan. Also in products updating, Dongfeng Peugeot has brought in new models of 3008, new 308 etc and some special models such as Dongfeng Peugeot 508, 408, 308, Roland Garros version and 308 music version are behaving well.

For channel establishment, there will be 100 more 4S new shops this year and 408 4S shops totally. Mr. Lv also said that Dongfeng Peugeot will release new model 301 focusing on 3-tier and 4-tier cities and young people whose age are around 30 years.

301 model and brand new Elysee both belongs to same platform and are manufactured in the 3rd factory of DPCA, so there must be some comparisons.

About this, Mr. Lv said that these two models could compete and their wheel bases are almost same but their configurations and suspensions are totally different such as entering without key and one button start are special configurations of Dongfeng Peugeot 301.
