Following its official launch in the Philippines on June 15th, GWM Philippines has commenced nationwide retail deliveries of the Haval H7, increasing vehicle allocation and distribution across its dealership network.

The company stated that the response generated during the model's preview at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), as well as during its official launch, prompted the accelerated rollout of units to dealerships nationwide.

GWM Philippines said it is making the Haval H7 available to customers through showroom displays and test-drive opportunities at participating dealerships. As part of the rollout, the company is inviting prospective customers to visit GWM dealerships nationwide to view the Haval H7 in person, learn more about its features, and experience its hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. Selected dealerships are also offering test-drive activities, enabling potential buyers to evaluate the vehicle's driving dynamics.

"The overwhelming reception we received during the Haval H7's official launch validates the growing demand among Filipino motorists for vehicles that offer innovation, performance, and value, we are excited to begin delivering units nationwide and invite customers to visit their nearest GWM dealership to discover what makes the Haval H7 a standout SUV in today's market," said Dax Avenido, Brand Head of GWM Philippines.

The introduction of the Haval H7 is expected to contribute to the brand's sales performance from June onwards.

Variants and pricing

The Haval H7 is offered as a five-seater SUV and is available in three variants:

- Haval H7 HEV 2WD - PHP 1,298,890 (with the starting price reported as PHP 1,298,888 in local market communications), or approximately US$ 21,085
- Haval H7 PHEV 2WD - PHP 1,548,888
- Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV 4WD - PHP 1,698,888

The model features an exterior design, a cabin with seating for five occupants, and a choice of hybrid or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) powertrains.

Powertrain options

The entry-level Haval H7 HEV 2WD combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with GWM's Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). The system delivers a combined output of 247 PS and 540 Nm of torque.

The Haval H7 PHEV 2WD pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a 19.09 kWh battery pack, producing a combined output of 322 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque. The plug-in hybrid variant offers a pure-electric driving range of up to 105 km under the NEDC test cycle.

The Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV 4WD is also equipped with a 19.09 kWh battery pack but adds dual electric motors and an all-wheel-drive system. The powertrain generates a combined output of 359 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque, while providing a pure-electric driving range of up to 91 km under the NEDC test cycle.

With nationwide deliveries underway, GWM Philippines is making the Haval H7 available through its dealership network, showroom displays, and test-drive programmes across the country.
