"For more than six decades, Hongqi has been trusted to be part of many important moments in Chinese history, accompanying heads of state and state events. For us, that's where heritage lies," said Andrew.
Hongqi E-HS9
As its first model for the Indonesian market, Hongqi has introduced the E-HS9, an electric sport utility vehicle (SUV).
The model incorporates Hongqi's design elements, including an Eastern-inspired design language. The Taihe proportions are intended to represent harmony and balance, while the waterfall grille is inspired by mountains and flowing water. The red lines associated with Hongqi represent the Shang Zhi Yi philosophy. The exterior of the E-HS9 uses full-size SUV proportions. Hongqi says the model has the longest dimensions in its class.
The E-HS9 is equipped with dual electric motors, which Hongqi says provide the highest power output in its class. The model combines the dual-motor powertrain with its full-size SUV configuration. Hongqi has not yet announced the E-HS9's official price or the date on which the model will go on sale in Indonesia.
