JMC has announced that JMC board of directors has approved 197 million yuan (US$ 32.2 million) for a J15 engine project.

As it is known, the project will be put into operation in the first half year of 2015 and designed too. The annual capacity is 50 thousand.

J15 is a gasoline engine which is prepared to introduce from Ford Auto. Changan Ford has obtained Ford production authority and controlled supplier source, JMC shall share modules and research fee with Changan Ford before it purchased China made accessories from Changan suppliers.

At present, JMC has paid 40 million yuan to Changan Ford before the project would be put into effect and the next phase fee has not been paid until it actually happened.

JMC Auto told a local media that JMC J15 engine will take 6 years from the start of production to end. Sharing accessories will remain the same price for JMC with Changan Ford.

Besides, as reported from JMC, the company has decided to invest 50 million yuan to find a subsidiary - JMC Auto Sales.

JMC has invested into the company all by its own capital and vice president of JMC Qing LI will take the corporate representative and executive director of new company. According to regulation, new sales company will take response of wholesales and retails business of JMC and province certain service.
