KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles will have a new distributor in the Philippines, with Lucky MAPI taking over the marketing, sales, after-sales services, and other operational activities beginning on 1st October 2024.
KTM Philippines, operated by Ayala-owned Adventure Cycle Philippines, Inc. (ACPI), announced on its social media channels that it would ''cease its operations as KTM and Husqvarna distributor on 30th September 2024.'' Leading up to this, ACPI had mutually agreed with KTM AG to pre-terminate the Importer Agreements.
In its place, Lucky MAPI will take over as the new distributor, overseeing marketing, sales, after-sales services, and other operational activities related to the KTM and Husqvarna motorcycle brands in the Philippines. This transition will take effect from 1st October 2024.
ACPI is part of Ayala Corporation's AC Mobility group, which includes exclusive Philippine distribution rights for brands like BYD, Volkswagen, and Kia.
Lucky MAPI is a subsidiary of Motor Ace Philippines, Inc., a veteran retailer of KTM and other motorcycle brands across several locations in the Philippines. More details about the transition of the distributorship are expected to be revealed through official announcements in the coming days.
