VinFast has just registered the design rights for two brand-new electric motorcycle models, featuring compact and fashionable designs aimed at students.

According to data recently updated by the Vietnam Office of Intellectual Property, VinFast has not only registered the design rights for a new mini electric car model, smaller than the VF3, but has also registered design copyrights for two completely new electric motorcycles with distinct styles.

Specifically, in the Official Gazette of Industrial Property, Volume A, Issue 2, updated by the Vietnam Intellectual Property Office in September 2024, there are images of two new electric motorcycle models under the VinFast brand.

Both of these new VinFast electric motorcycles are compact in size but feature different design styles. The first model has a fashionable style, mixed with classic elements, featuring rounded lines across the body. It has a headlight cluster with integrated circular xenon lights on the front fairing and a raised handlebar. The rear body is designed with a chubby appearance, similar to some scooters currently available on the market.

In contrast, the second VinFast electric scooter model has a more angular, boxy shape, giving it a stronger, more distinctive look. Large rectangular headlights are integrated into the front fairing, with xenon lights positioned on both sides. The saddle is equipped with an additional backrest for the rear passenger.

Both new electric scooter models are equipped with cast wheels, a front disc brake system, and electric motors mounted on the rear axle. With these features, both models are designed for students or people who frequently travel within the city.

With the registration of industrial design copyrights, it is highly likely that VinFast will launch these two brand-new electric motorcycle models in the near future, promising to offer a fresh choice in the electric motorcycle segment for Vietnamese customers.
