MG Motor begins deliveries of Cyberster in Jakarta

MG Motor Indonesia officially started deliveries of the Cyberster to customers at an event held at the Beer Hall SCBD in Jakarta.
He Guowei, CEO of MG Motor Indonesia, stated that this handover marks the first wave, with additional units to be delivered to customers over time.
He expressed his satisfaction, saying, "Today, we are certainly happy to deliver the Cyberster to consumers in Indonesia."
He also shared that the response to the electric roadster from Indonesian consumers has been positive since its debut at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in July.
"To date, we have received approximately 35-50 bookings for the MG Cyberster, with orders coming from several regions, including Bandung and Bali. However, the first deliveries are for customers in the Jakarta area," He further added.
The MG Cyberster, a roadster featuring an exotic design, is highlighted by its Automatic Scissors Doors, which enhance the car's aesthetic appeal. Additionally, it boasts a convertible roof that can be opened automatically.
In terms of performance, the Cyberster is equipped with an electric motor that generates a maximum power output of 536 PS and 725 Nm of torque, along with an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Powered by a 77 kWh battery, the car offers a range of up to 503 km on a single charge.
The Cyberster is officially available for sale in Indonesia at a price of IDR 1.688 billion (US$ 106,340).
