Royal Enfield has unveiled the all-new Thunderbird 500, priced at Rs. 182,000 (US$ 3,400), ex-showroom Mumbai.

The company has also introduced the all-new Thunderbird 350, available at Rs. 143,000.

The two new bikes are available in three shades - Flicker black, Twilight black and Stone black (matt). Both models sport more or less the same features like air-cooled single cylinder 4-stroke Twin Spark engine, apart from the EFI, and the capability to cover 600 kilometres in a 20L tank full.

Thunderbird 500 comes with refreshed design and styling, an LED tail lamp, redesigned front end with 41mm thick forks, instrument panel with two digit trip meters and the inclusion of hazard lamps in the switch gear.

The company is also re-introducing a host of accessories for riders, like leather and mesh jackets, waterproof pants, gloves in short and leaping gauntlets plus eyewear.

AGV will make specially branded helmets for the company, besides boots and luggage.
