Sime Motors, the automotive division of Sime Darby Berhad, has unified its pre-owned car operations in Singapore under the Auto Selection brand.

This consolidation merges Performance Premium Selection (PPSL) and Sime Darby Auto Selection (SDAS) into a single entity, now legally known as Sime Darby Auto Selection . The initiative aligns with the brand's existing presence in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Auto Selection integrates the strengths of both businesses to offer a broad selection of certified pre-owned BMWs alongside multi-brand used vehicles.

"Auto Selection is more than a refreshed brand; it represents a strategic consolidation that enhances customer convenience, broadens vehicle choice, and ensures consistent quality," stated Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Sime. "At the same time, it reinforces Sime's expanding presence across the retail automotive value chain in the region, from new to pre-owned vehicles."

Auto Selection's direct retailing of trade-in vehicles enables the provision of more competitive trade-in values, while also supporting the transition of potential customers into new BMW ownership through its affiliated company, Performance Motors (PML).

Under the "All Access to Joy" programme, PML will now extend benefits previously exclusive to BMW owners to customers of Auto Selection's pre-owned vehicles. These benefits include access to special events and service packages.
