Suzuki launches Shogun Axelo 125 in Malaysia

Suzuki Assemblers Malaysia, the Japanese automaker's two-wheeler division in Malaysia, has introduced the Shogun Axelo in two variants. The difference between the two variants is that the Axelo S comes with an automatic clutch for easier operation in city driving, while the Axelo R features a manual hand clutch. The 2011 Suzuki Shogun Axelo is equipped with four-stroke 125cc engine. The Azelo's compression ratio, at 9.6:1, is relatively high compared to Yamaha's Lagenda 115ZR, at 9.3:1, and Honda's Wave RS at 9.0:1. The Suzuki Axelo uses a single disc brake at both front and rear for both variants. The Axelo R is only available in blue, while the Axelo S version is available in three colours - red, blue and black. The Shogun Axelo S is priced at RM 5,208 (US$ 1,700), while the Axelo R has been priced at RM 5,388. Suzuki is offering a free helmet and a riding jacket with every purchase of the Axelo till 31st October.
