Suzuki to assemble Raider 150 in Vietnam

Suzuki has announced that it will assemble the Raider 150 sports underbone in Vietnam. The Raider 150 comes with a 150cc, four-stroke, DOHC engine developing 16 PS, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The underbone, which will be assembled at Suzuki's plant at Dong Nai, is also referred to as the Satria F150 (Indonesia), Belang R150 (Malaysia) and the Raider R150 (Thailand and Philippines). Deliveries will officially commence from November. Currently, the Raider 150 is present in Vietnam only as a CBU, which explains the high VND 100 million (US$ 4,800) price. Once local assembly starts, the price is expected to come down drastically.
