THACO AUTO and BMW officially introduced the first ConnectedDrive smart connection system in Vietnam.

This is the most advanced digital connectivity technology developed by the BMW Group, supporting the connection between customers and vehicles through the My BMW application installed on smartphones.

My BMW application helps optimise all the advantages of the ConnectedDrive connection system. Through this application, customers can manage vehicle information, update software, check status or control the vehicle remotely. The first car equipped with ConnectedDrive in Vietnam is the new BMW 3 Series.

Accordingly, the BMW 330i M Sport version is equipped with ConnectedDrive smart connectivity, which is added with new digital features such as Online Navigation. BMW maps are capable of understanding user habits and predicting, suggesting the most convenient journey to drive to the desired location.

In addition, this feature also allows online search for favourite places on the map (Online Search), users can actively create personal routes according to their daily travel preferences.

With ConnectedDrive, users can view more updated weather information, open maps, activate applications, look up information and more. In addition to the ability to control basic systems on the car. The ConnectedDrive system also allows users to update software remotely (Remote Software Upgrade).

The interface of the My BMW application was launched in Vietnam with 4 main cards, including: Vehicle, Map, Services & Store and Profile. Each card will be designed with its own interface to optimise features, with an intuitive and scientific interface that will make it easy for users to get used to and use.

The ConnectedDrive system launched in Vietnam is a new development of BMW in its strategy to reach customers through advanced digital technologies. With the beginning of the new BMW 330i M Sport ConnectedDrive model, it is expected that in the future, the ConnectedDrive system will be equipped on many BMW models in Vietnam.
