Toyota unveils all-new Hilux, RAV4

Toyota Lanka, the sole authorised distributor of the brand in Sri Lanka, officially unveiled the all-new Hilux and RAV4 2026 at its launch event called Unlocked.
The event was attended by more than 250 business partners, industry stakeholders, customers and media representatives, marking the introduction of the two models to the Sri Lankan market.
The launch forms part of the brand's efforts to introduce Toyota vehicles featuring updated automotive technology and safety systems while addressing changing mobility requirements in Sri Lanka. The introduction of the Hilux and RAV4 expands the company's product portfolio.
Toyota Lanka has expanded its operations beyond vehicle sales to include mobility and logistics solutions. Guided by the brand's quality, durability, reliability and safety (QDRS) principles, the company offers passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, mobility solutions and logistics solutions.
The launch event enabled stakeholders to view the Hilux and RAV4 and learn about their features. Both models have been tropicalised to suit Sri Lanka's geographical and driving conditions. The RAV4, which the company states is the best-selling SUV in the United States, features SUV comfort, technology and practicality, while the Hilux is intended for commercial applications.
The "Unlocked" event also enabled guests to view Toyota's vehicle technologies, design approach and vehicle features. In addition to unveiling the Hilux and RAV4 2026, the event showcased Toyota Lanka's product portfolio, which includes passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, mobility solutions and logistics solutions. The launch also aligns with the brand's global mission of creating "Mobility Happiness for All".
Toyota Lanka continues to expand its presence across Sri Lanka. The company currently operates more than 20 facilities across the country, providing vehicle sales, servicing, genuine parts and aftersales support.
As part of its long-term growth strategy, Toyota Lanka plans to expand its network to more than 30 branches by the end of 2026.
The introduction of the Hilux and RAV4 expands Toyota Lanka's product range. As the company expands its network, develops its aftersales services and introduces additional Toyota models to the Sri Lankan market, it states that it will continue to develop its mobility offerings.
