Volvo S60L arrives at Guangzhou Auto Show

The stretched variant of the Volvo S60 will officially debut on 21st November on the Guangzhou Auto Show, but we couldn't wait that long. One gray example was spotted when it was being stationed on the Volvo booth in the exhibition hall. The China-only Volvo S60L is extended by eight centimeters in the middle to create more legroom for passengers in the back. The S60L is manufactured in a new Geely-funded Volvo factory in Chengdu in central China. The Volvo S60L will be launched on the China car market around just before the end of the year. The price will start around 220,000 yuan (US$ 36,100). The S60L will be powered by a 200 HP 2-litre turbo (2.0T), a 241 HP 2-litre turbo (T5) or a 300 HP 3-litre turbo (T6). The Volvo S60L will compete with other China-made China-only stretched sedans such as the Audi A4L, the BMW 3Li and the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class L. Dimensions - 4,715 mm / 1,866 mm / 1,481 mm and the wheelbase is 2,856 mm.
