Volvo Cars Malaysia has introduced an enhanced variant of its long running XC90 sports utility vehicle for 2013 which now features exterior and interior updates.

Called the XC90 T5 Executive, this variant gets chrome wing mirror covers, LED driving lights, new front bumper bar and 19-inch Galateia aluminium wheels for extra panache.

Inside, the vehicle comes with well-appointed wood inlays complementing the plush and soft leather upholstery for higher levels of luxury and comfort.

As with all Volvo cars, the vehicle is equipped with the usual fare of "Swede" sensibilities like booster cushions integrated into the rear seats, ISOFIX mounting points for child seats and a grocery bag holder.

Audio system comes with six-disc CD changer with AUX port and 12 speakers, offering premium sound which can also be streamed from portable devices via Bluetooth.

Powering the vehicle is a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine that delivers 210bhp at 5,000rpm, promising ample amount of performance for tarmac or country road driving.

Priced at RM 368,888 (US$ 122,560) (Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road without insurance) and available in Ice White, Ember Black, Electric Silver and Twilight Bronze.
