Wuling Hongguang MiniEV was offered with a discount of up to VND 40 million (US$ 1,600) by the local dealers, bringing the price of the car down to VND 199 million in Vietnam.

With a listed price from VND 239 million, Wuling Hongguang MiniEV is the most affordable car model in Vietnam.

However, since its market launch from June 2023, this electric car model from China has not had good sales in a month because of its appearance that does not suit Vietnamese taste and is quite poorly equipped.

To boost year-end sales, some Wuling agents have implemented many incentive programs for customers. Specifically, referring to a showroom in Hai Phong, the consultant said that "customers who buy Hongguang MiniEV will receive the car before Tet, and at the same time enjoy a discount of up to VND 40 million. This offer includes a cash discount on car accessories and also New Year's gifts."

The consultant also said that "the preferential policy has a significant difference in agents, with agents only VND 10 million discount and free accessories, but there are also cash incentives up to more than VND 30 million."

After deducting the incentive, the standard version of Wuling Hongguang MiniEV is currently priced at only VND 199 million. This number is only slightly higher than some high-end scooter models such as Vespa GTS Super 300cc (VND 180 million) or Honda SH350i (VND 151 million) and is much more affordable than the Kia Morning version (price VND 349 million).

Wuling Hongguang Mini EV has dimensions of 2,917mm length, 1,493mm width, 1,621mm height, wheelbase of 1,940mm and weight of 665 kg, respectively.

In the high-end version, the car is equipped with projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, the Wuling logo with a decorative strip on both sides in the form of LED recessed, the led waiting light, rear fog light and a 12-inch rim with 145/70R12 tyres.
