Oneshift, 13 May '26
XPeng has introduced the refreshed X9 in Singapore amid growing demand for premium electric multi-purpose vehicles equipped with advanced technology and fast-charging capabilities.
Prices start from SGD 336,999 (US$ 264,840) for the Standard Range variant and SGD 347,999 for the Long Range model.
The updated X9 introduces revisions across technology, charging performance and interior comfort as the company aims to strengthen its position in the premium electric MPV segment.
Among the key updates is XPeng's new Turing AI chip, making the X9 the first model in the Asia-Pacific region to feature the system. Designed to support advanced driver assistance and smart cockpit functions, the chip delivers up to 750 TOPS of computing power, approximately three times higher than the previous system.
Charging performance has also been updated. Built on XPeng's next-generation 800V high-voltage platform with 5C charging capability, the X9 can charge from 10 to 80% in under 12 minutes when connected to compatible high-capacity chargers.
The Standard Range variant now offers a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 535 km, while the Long Range version extends the figure to 615 km. Both variants complete the 0-100 km/h acceleration run in 8.2 seconds.
Externally, the X9 adopts revised aerodynamic styling with smoother body lines, an angled windscreen and XPeng's updated X-ROBOT FACE 2.0 front-end design. Despite measuring more than 5.3 metres in length, the MPV stands below 1.8 metres in height, allowing it to remain compatible with Singapore car parks.
Inside, the cabin places emphasis on passenger comfort. First- and second-row occupants are provided with Nappa leather "zero gravity" seats featuring 10-point massage functions, while flexible seating configurations allow cargo capacity to expand from 721 litres to 2,554 litres while still accommodating seven passengers.
The X9 also features active rear-wheel steering to improve low-speed manoeuvrability and high-speed stability, along with nine airbags and ISOFIX anchor points in both the second and third rows.
