The new-generation Honda Civic subcompact will make its debut at the Guangzhou International Motor Show at the end of this year, media sources reported on 10th August.

The new Civic will reportedly be based on its American counterpart, with a 30 mm shorter wheelbase than its predecessor. The Civic takes design elements from the CR-Z concept , with a redesigned grille and rear lights.

This will be the first time a 115 kW (156 PS), 2.0-litre engine makes its appearance on the Civic in China.
