Ford Philippines' new Managing Director, Pedro Simoes, has outlined "three significant initiatives" for 2025.
Simoes, who was recently appointed as the head of Ford in the Philippines, made this announcement at a year-end press gathering.
Simoes revealed that Ford Philippines will commence its electrification journey in 2025 with the introduction of new vehicles aimed at expanding its product portfolio and meeting the increasing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in the country.
Following extensive research, planning, and collaboration with Ford teams globally, Ford Philippines is set to launch a range of EVs in 2025, leveraging Ford Motor Company's expertise in the EV sector.
In addition to these new EV offerings, Ford Philippines will unveil the Ford Signature 2025 dealership design for its showrooms, which will focus on hospitality and customer-centricity.
This redesign addresses customers' desire for a more engaging retail environment that fosters personalised interactions, trust, and a sense of belonging. The updated design seeks to position Ford as a lifestyle brand by creating meaningful experiences for both customers and employees, thereby fostering brand loyalty and ensuring long-term success.
Furthermore, Ford Philippines remains committed to enhancing its service quality and ownership experience with the establishment of a new Learning Centre.
This facility will provide high-quality training for dealer technicians, with ample space to conduct EV-specific training programmes. The Learning Centre will also offer non-technical training for dealer sales personnel, equipping them with the necessary skills to deliver an improved customer experience.
