The launch of the Proton e.MAS 7 introduces the brand's first battery-electric vehicle to the market.

This also coincides with the upcoming opening of the first Proton e.MAS showroom, operated by SG Car under the Pro-Net (Proton New Energy Technology) dealer network. The showroom, located in Shah Alam, will open on December 21st, 2024.

The showroom is situated at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam, Selangor. The event will begin with guest registrations at 11:00 am, followed by official proceedings at 11:30 am.

The Pro-Net headquarters team will provide a product overview, and test drives of the e.MAS 7 will be available for attendees. The SG Car showroom in Shah Alam can accommodate up to 14 vehicles, including both internal combustion engine and electric models.

It offers 30 parking spaces and a lounge with seating for up to 30 people. The service department is equipped with 13 hoists, and a DC charger is located outside the showroom for Proton EV users.

The e.MAS 7 is priced from MYR 109,800 (US$ 24,500) for the Prime variant and MYR 123,800 for the Premium variant.

For a limited time, the first 3,000 customers will receive a MYR 4,000 discount on both variants, reducing the introductory prices to MYR 105,800 and MYR 119,800, respectively.

Additionally, the e.MAS 7 launch package includes a complimentary 7 kW home charger valued at MYR 1,500, a V2L (vehicle-to-load) adaptor worth MYR 500, low-interest rates starting from 1.98%, a five-year unlimited data package valued at MYR 1,800, and a trade-in rebate of MYR 1,200.

This event marks the introduction of the e.MAS 7 and is part of the brand's move into electric mobility.
