QJMotor introduces new AX200S

MForce Bike Holdings has added the AX200S to the QJMotor range in Malaysia.
It is a budget-focused maxi scooter with specifications aimed at urban commuting and daily use.
AX200S pricing
The AX200S is priced at MYR 7,988 (US$ 1,862) on the road, excluding insurance. It competes with other models in the segment, such as the Honda Vario 160 and Yamaha NVX 155.
Engine and transmission
The AX200S is equipped with a 175 cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, four-valve engine, delivering a maximum output of 17 PS at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 15.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission and uses a belt final drive.
Design and features
The scooter has a forward-positioned windshield and a sharply styled LED headlight with winglet-like elements. The fuel tank area is sculpted, and the side panels are streamlined.
At the rear, it features a contoured tail section, a compact LED tail light, and an extended exhaust system. The AX200S uses 14-inch wheels with 100/80-14 front and 120/70-14 rear tyres. An LCD touchscreen display provides riding information.
The vehicle has a seat height of 780 mm, weighs 127 kg, and includes underseat storage that can fit one full-size helmet.
Other features include dual USB ports, a seat designed for rider support, a front storage compartment, and a smart locking system.
Suspension and braking
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking is provided by a 230 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc. The scooter includes dual-channel ABS and a traction control system to manage wheel spin on loose or wet surfaces.
Colour options
The AX200S is available in Grey, Moon Blue, and Sand Brown.
