Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid is now officially available in Nepal.

United Traders Syndicate, the authorised distributor of Toyota vehicles in Nepal, has launched its newest hybrid electric vehicle for the Nepali market.

It has been designed and developed for the Asian markets, so the overall styling is a bit different compared to European markets.

Design

Yaris Cross Hybrid has a bold and dynamic design with powerful proportions. The three-dimensional features create voluminous surface expressions. The front section comes with an aggressive LED Headlamp with a Sleek DRL.

Moreover, the LED foglamps are cleverly integrated with the bumper. The side profile is relatively simple but features large 18-inch Alloy Wheels. Interior of the vehicle features a thin and wide soft-padded instrument panel, a driver-oriented cockpit, and a panoramic sunroof to create a sporty impression.

Additionally, the vehicle comes in Scarlet, Turquoise, Silver White, Silver, Platinum Pearl, Green, Black, and Red colours.

Performance

Yaris Cross Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-Cylinder, in-line Dual VVT-i Petrol Engine. It generates a max power of 112 PS at 5500 rpm and a max torque of 121 Nm at 4000-4800 rpm.

Interestingly, the engine combines a 26.2 kW HEV System with a 59 kW Electric Generator, pumping out 141 Nm Torque. It houses a 4.3 Ahr Lithium-Ion Battery. Moreover, it is mated to an e-CVT transmission with a 36-litre fuel tank. It has a 20-25 km/l claimed mileage.

Additional Details

MacPherson Strut and Torsion Beam handle suspension duties. The dimensions of the vehicle are 4310mm length, 1770mm width, and 1655mm height. Moreover, the wheelbase sits at 2620mm.

Yaris Cross Hybrid has a 210 mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight is 1850 kg. The boot space is 466 litres, which is expandable.
