Geely has officially opened pre-bookings for the Starray EM-i, a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV), in Surabaya.

This follows its debut at GIIAS 2025, held at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City. The Starray EM-i Max is offered at a pre-booking price of IDR 499.8 million (US$ 30,490) on the road (OTR) Jakarta, and IDR 504.8 million OTR Surabaya.

According to Constantinus Herlijoso, Sales and Channel Development Director of Geely Auto Indonesia, the Starray EM-i is intended to address mobility requirements in East Java, with after-sales service supported through the official dealership opened in Surabaya.

The Starray EM-i is available in six exterior colour options: Twilight Grey, Snowy White, Pearl Silver, Marble Black, Supersonic Green, and Bright Blue.

More details will be revealed upon launch.

Consumers who pre-book the vehicle will receive the following benefits:

- Vehicle and engine warranty of up to six years or 150,000 km
- Electric motor and battery warranty of up to eight years or 180,000 km
- Lifetime free periodic maintenance service
- Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) service for three years with unlimited mileage
- Free portable charger with an OEM accessory package and window film, or a wall charger with basic installation
- Free insurance for one year for cash purchases, or a leasing subsidy of IDR 5 million for credit purchases
- Free LED front-through headlamp
- 2GB internet quota per month for two years and a head unit application licence for five years
- A benefit valued at IDR 2 million for special colour options, including Supersonic Green and Bright Blue for the exterior, or White for the interior

Deliveries will begin in September 2025. In the event of a delay, consumers will be entitled to compensation of IDR 2 million per month starting from October 2025.
