At the launch of the Mercedes-Benz S Class at the Manila Peninsula, it seems that the S 500 that CATS Motors unveiled is only the beginning as by the 3rd quarter of next year, the Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG is set to be launched as well according to a Mercedes executive.

The AMG version of the Mercedes-Benz flagship will be the most powerful luxury saloon in its class when launched in the Philippines, pumping out 585 PS at 5,500 rpm and 900 Newton-meters of torque, all through the AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed automatic to the rear wheels.

It was also hinted by a CATS Motors executive that along with the S 500 and S 63, it was also possible that the S 400 Hybrid could arrive as well.

There are no news regarding the S 65 yet but given that Mercedes-Benz Philippines typically launches all the top spec variants and AMG versions, it's not far off.
