New DFCV factory under construction, production to start late-2014

Recently, construction was started on the new DFCV factory in Wuhan economic and technological development zone. This new factory had decided to start production in late 2014 and new energy automobile would be its priority. This factory covers an area of 0.27 square kilometers and first investment is 2.4 billion RMB (US$ 392 billion). The output value is planned to be 160,000 and will begin to run in late 2014. Mr. Huang, the executive of new energy automobile, said, "This new factory will guarantee the production of owned brand new energy automobile and manufacture conventional motors only when the requirement of new energy automobile decreases."
