SM boss orders for 200 Mitsubishi Mirage G4s in the Philippines

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines formally launched the Mirage G4 sedan last night at SMX Aura Convention Center before VIP guests and the media. One of those who attended the launch was SM Prime Holdings president Hans Sy. As you know, the Sy family owns the chain of SM malls in the country, including the venue of the Mirage G4's launch. We were told that Sy was so impressed by the car that he decided on the spot to place an order for 200 units, presumably to be distributed to his company's managers and field officers. This should further do wonders for MMPC's bottom line. Even before the Mirage G4's arrival, Mitsubishi sales in the Philippines had been solid, totaling 31,306 units from January to September this year compared to 24,911 in the same period last year. With the Mirage G4 now in the company's product lineup, expect MMPC's sales performance to go off the charts. Surely, an endorsement in the form of a 200-unit purchase by SM's big boss wouldn't hurt.
