Honda launched the India-made Amaze in Brunei today.

Happy Motoring, the official distributor for Honda Cars in Brunei, commenced sales of the car which comes with a petrol engine.

The Honda Amaze sold in Brunei is visually and mechanically the same as the model sold in India. The 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 88PS will power the Amaze in Brunei and Honda will offer it with a 5-speed manual and the 5-speed automatic gearbox.

Features seen on the Amaze in India such as ABS, EBD, dual front airbags, power-folding wing mirrors and the ECO light are available on the Bruneian Amaze that is retailed in two trim levels - 1.2 C Manual and 1.2 C Automatic.

While the manual variant is priced at BND 21,000 (US$ 16,900 or INR 1.029 million), the automatic variant is priced at BND 23,200 (INR 1.137 million).
